Konstructo Privacy Policy

Konstructo Technologies Inc. (“Konstructo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides construction-management websites, web applications, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit konstructo.io, request a demo, create or use an account, receive support, or use the Service through a customer company.

1. Who is responsible

For information we collect to operate our website, accounts, billing, demos, security, and support, Konstructo determines why and how the information is handled.

Customer companies use Konstructo to manage their own construction operations. For project, workforce, client, vendor, subcontractor, commercial, safety, and similar records entered by a customer, the customer generally decides what to enter, why it is needed, who may access it, and how long it should be kept. In those circumstances, the customer may be responsible for the information and Konstructo acts as its service provider. If your account is managed by a company, contact that company first about its records or access decisions.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account and contact information: first and last name, email address, authentication credentials, account status, company, role, preferences, and information used for password recovery or support.

  • Demo and support information: name, work email, company, workflow questions, messages, and other information you choose to provide. Please do not submit confidential project information through the public demo form.

  • Customer workspace content: company, team, worker, client, vendor, subcontractor, project, task, schedule, equipment, RFI, proposal, bid, purchase order, change order, invoice, recorded-payment, message, safety, document, file, and related construction records entered by authorized users.

  • Subscription and transaction information, when paid purchasing is enabled: selected plan, billing cycle, seat count, billing contact, invoice or transaction identifiers, payment status, and related records. If a payment provider or app store processes a purchase, it handles payment credentials under its own terms and may provide Konstructo with information needed to administer the transaction.

  • Technical and usage information: IP address, date and time of a request, browser, device and operating-system information, requested and referring pages, session or account identifiers, interactions with the Service, and security, diagnostic, or performance information made available by our infrastructure.

  • Information from enabled integrations: information an authorized user directs that integration or service to send to Konstructo.

The Service may contain free-text and file-upload features. Customer companies and users are responsible for entering only information they are authorized to use and that is appropriate for the Service.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, maintain, personalize, and secure the Service;

  • create accounts, authenticate users, administer roles and customer workspaces, and provide requested features;

  • respond to demos, questions, support requests, and service communications;

  • administer trials, plans, transactions, invoices, and customer relationships;

  • use technical, support, and usage information to monitor reliability, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and improve the Service;

  • comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims; and

  • carry out another purpose that we explain when collecting the information, with any consent required by law.

We do not use customer workspace content for targeted advertising or to train a general-purpose artificial-intelligence model unless the customer expressly agrees in a separate written agreement.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information:

  • to the customer company and its authorized users according to the access the customer configures;

  • to Framer, which hosts and delivers the public marketing site and provides website measurement;

  • to Bubble, which provides application hosting, authentication, workflows, data storage, and related application infrastructure;

  • to other providers that perform a specific hosting, email, support, payment, security, or integration service for Konstructo;

  • to payment providers, app stores, or integrations when a purchase or authorized feature uses them;

  • to professional advisers subject to appropriate confidentiality duties;

  • when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the Service; and

  • in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable legal protections.

We do not sell personal information or disclose it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We require providers that receive personal information from us to protect it consistently with this Policy, their role, applicable platform rules, and applicable law. An integration selected by a customer may operate under its own privacy terms.

5. Cookies and analytics

The application may use cookies or similar storage needed for authentication, sessions, security, and requested functionality.

Our public marketing site uses Framer infrastructure and Framer’s website-measurement technology. Framer describes its built-in analytics as aggregate measurement that does not use cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. We do not currently use advertising pixels on the public marketing site. If we add an optional technology that requires consent, we will provide the notice and choice required by applicable law.

Browser settings can control some cookies or storage, but disabling necessary technologies may prevent account or application features from working.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, customer instructions and contracts, account and transaction administration, security and dispute resolution, and legal, tax, or accounting requirements.

Retention can vary by record. Customer workspace content is generally retained according to the customer relationship and authorized customer instructions. Some shared project, safety, commercial, audit, and transaction records may need to remain after an individual user is removed. Backup copies and provider systems may take additional time to expire. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it as appropriate.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that an incident will never occur. Keep credentials confidential and contact hello@konstructo.io if you believe an account has been compromised.

8. International processing

Konstructo and its providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where they operate. Information processed outside your province or country may be subject to the laws and lawful access rules of that jurisdiction.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or complain to a privacy regulator.

Send a request to privacy@konstructo.io. Tell us the account or company involved and what you are requesting. Do not send passwords or unnecessary identification documents. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting.

If your company controls the relevant workspace records, we may direct the request to that company or assist it in responding. Rights can be limited by applicable law, another person’s rights, security needs, or legal and recordkeeping obligations.

Marketing messages, if offered, will include a way to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary account, security, billing, project, or support communications.

10. Account deletion

Account deletion is different from ending a subscription, uninstalling an application, or being removed from a customer workspace. To request deletion, contact privacy@konstructo.io. Before submitting a mobile application that supports account creation, Konstructo will also provide a dedicated public Account Deletion page and an in-app deletion-initiation path.

Deleting an individual account removes the person’s login and account-only information, subject to verification and lawful retention. It may not erase customer-controlled records shared with other authorized users. An authorized customer administrator must separately request closure of an entire company workspace.

11. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 18. Do not create an account for a person under 18. A customer must not enter information about a younger worker unless it has the authority and protections required by law and Konstructo has approved that use of the Service.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our Service, practices, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.
